Important point, once flash the SSL, you MUST REBOOT the box into Flash mode again. You cannot just flash the SSL and then immediately after the image as it would mean the first SSL is not "seen/loaded" by the box, and only the image is.

JapharFlasher and DreamUp have inside their own SSL, so it could happen that you have something with an older or different SSL when in rescue mode. But then it will write the NFI file you load.

Did you tired to then flash the original SSL88 and the SSL89 ? What are the results. Try the SSL88 (then reboot and tell us result) and then the SSL89 (then reboot and tell us result).

Did you had this problem also before you flashed the image that got you into NO CA ERROR ? Reason of flashing a new image ? As your chip could have failed and could need replacement (you could remove it and solder a simsocket and install a Japhar Sim, if the chip is dead).

First of all try the SSL88 and SSL89, and tell us for each one the results.
