Hello !

1) You will have to email me and I will give you the python script to use, then email me back the output. (This is not mandatory but it's information that helps the team to improve the software we release).

2) Order the sim (and socket if you have none, but probably you already have it). The ISO7816 is 6 contacts, and not 8 contacts, so in fact only 6 are used by the Sim cards, and a sim socket support is enough if it has 6 contacts.

3) Unsolder the chip, generally you put some solding on all the 8 pins (4x4) and get the chip hotter to remove it softly, to then keep in a good place to not loose it.

4) Solder the socket as in the photos of the link, same position as in a DM800HDse V1. http://www.ourdreambox.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=15#Post15 As on the link you can see the position of the socket, and it's strickly the same as on the DM800HDse V1 anyway.

5) This done, you will have to do as explained in the Tutorial for the upgrade of the Sim/software in your DM800HDseV2, then you will be capable of using all images on DM800HDse V2 Japhar section below.
