Sim 1.0 working, Sim Japhar-Ferrari and Sim2 not working... One of our members had a problem with his DM800HD, he was using an old Sim 1.0 on his box and wanted to switch to the newer images and so upgraded his Sim. None of the new Sims were working (with ->error message)... and we told him that most probably this was a problem on the motherboard (perhaps not fully supply of Power to the smartcard chip). He found out that the Sim 1.0 was working with a 2.2v, but when inserting the Japhar-Ferrari Sim or the Sim2 it was dropping at 1.5v... the result seems to be a Transistor to replace. See photos attached. Admin P.S.: More infos, in French, http://www.ourdreambox.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=3388#Post3388Image of Sim card holder / socket connections to Pads:
